Aim and Ignite - fun. (2009)

In today's world pop has come to be regarded as a somewhat negative term by people. This should stop. Aim and Ignite is an intensely layered pop album that is really one of the best releases this year. The pleasant sounding voice of Nate Ruess (formerly of The Format) and the great instrumentation by Andrew Dost (formerly of Anathallo, another personal fav) make this work an admirable debut. I read their website here and saw how great their band dynamic is. Hopefully they can keep it up and pump out more great, FUN tunes.

Stand out tracks:
All the Pretty Girls
Walking the Dog
